Our friends at the Eden Project know that neighbourliness strengthens communities, especially in the face of crisis. As Covid-19 prompts renewed lockdowns, our care for each other and our communities will become more important than ever. To help people step forward and learn together how best we can support and grow our communities, they have a few places left for their fantastic free virtual learning experiences which might be just the thing for you:
Eden Project Communities’ virtual community camp is for people who are interested in community and local action. It doesn’t matter if you are just starting out, if you have an idea or you are a seasoned community project leader – the camp is for lots of different types of people who want to help make a positive change where they live, so why not sign up and join in?
Taking place 12th October till 11th November via Zoom, there is still time to get a seat from the comfort of your own kitchen table. They have developed some great ideas on how to translate some of the Eden Projects magic into their free online course (so no it won’t be ‘just’ online workshops but lots of opportunities to connect, grow, build and learn from each other).
Course members will receive resources and support pre and post-camp as well as an award in Creative Community Leadership
