Trick or Treat! Nextdoor makes it easy this Halloween

The spookiest night of the year is coming up, and Nextdoor is introducing a special feature in neighbourhoods across the UK.

This Halloween, our new Trick-or-Treat Map will allow neighbours to let everyone know if they are giving out sweets and chocolate to trick-or-treaters. Parents – and little ghouls and goblins alike – can use the map to plan the best route to go trick-or-treating through the neighbourhood to ensure a full bag of sweets by the end of the night!

It’s easy to get involved:

1. Visit your neighbourhood map. You will be given the choice to add a sweet on top of your home (or a haunted house, for those who are going the whole hog!). For neighbours who live or plan to visit a multi-tenant building, just click on the parcel to see the details of who will be participating in that building.

2. Encourage your neighbours and friends to place the appropriate icon on the map so you’ll know exactly who is handing out sweets.
